Welcome back! Join Bay Area kirtan musicians Mirabai Warkulwiz and Ramana Erickson as they return to Tara Yoga Studio for a chanting call and response sound experience to celebrate the summer solstice.

Our upcoming kirtan is a heartwarming invitation for you to tap into the power of our spiritual lineage…to learn right from the source where so many of my teachings to you come from.

I sat for many months side-by-side with Mirabai as she taught me the Hanuman Chalisa on the harmonium, and I sat for many, many hours of deep study of Sanskrit and yoga's roots with Ramana during yoga teacher training. So many of the dharma talks—the anecdotes and life lessons I share with you in our classes—have been transmitted to me through my dear teachers. 

Our next kirtan takes place on a Sunday so you can start your week in profound peace, ecstatic joy, and deep community connection. There is no prior experience necessary for this call-and-response community satsang chanting in Sanskrit. I hope you'll join us and be part of the rich lineage of the ongoing transmission of the teachings of yoga and bhakti over thousands of years.

Please arrive 10 minutes early, as the kirtan will begin promptly at 7:00pm.
