Tara Yoga Studio classes are open and welcoming to practitioners of all levels. Inspiring music enhances teachers’ close attention and care in crafting creative asana sequences. Props are available, and hands on assists are offered.

Classes

  • Tara Vinyasa classes connect breath with movement to invigorate, awaken, and elevate your energy. Modifications and alternatives are offered along the way.

  • Tara Align + Flow classes offer an alignment-based flow focusing on postural composition and breath.

  • Tara Flow + Restore classes start with Sun Salutes and standing poses to rinse off your day, followed by a restorative wind down.

  • Tara Yin + Restore classes start with the slow pace of yin yoga, followed by a restorative wind down.

FAQs

  • You are welcome to attend any and all classes at Tara Yoga Studio. Our experienced teachers will help you to feel included. We highly recommend our Yoga Basics class, too.

  • Only you, your doctor, your PT, and the members of your trained health professional team can determine whether or not you should practice. Please take the day off from practicing at Tara Yoga Studio if you are coughing, sneezing, blowing your nose excessively, and / or have a fever. We can’t wait to welcome you back soon.

  • Everyone is welcome to practice here at Tara Yoga Studio. At TYS our intention is to cultivate a supportive, inclusive, queer and trans-affirming space in Marin County. We aim to create programming inviting to all races, genders, body shapes, sizes, and abilities.

  • Please turn your phone off or on silent. Your phone should not be visible during yoga practice. (IE it’s in your bag or in the car.)
