Join us for an evening of deep rest and renewal as we slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and reset for the season ahead. Cianne will guide you through simple grounding breath work, along with a few gentle restorative yin postures designed to help the body soften and the nervous system settle. From there, we'll ease into a deeply restorative guided Yoga Nidra practice, accompanied by the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls and other sound healing instruments offered by the talented Sanaz Sounds.
Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation practice that invites the body into profound relaxation while the mind rests in a state between waking and sleeping. While comfortably lying down, you'll be guided through body awareness, breath awareness, visualization, and intention setting. Working through the layers of self, or koshas, Yoga Nidra offers an opportunity to access a deeper sense of peace, clarity, and inner wisdom. Many people leave feeling deeply rested, grounded, and renewed.
Sound Therapy uses the vibrations and frequencies of instruments such as crystal singing bowls to support relaxation and nervous system regulation. The soothing sounds can help quiet mental chatter, release tension, and create a sense of spaciousness and ease, allowing the body and mind to settle into a restorative state.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get settled, as we’ll begin promptly at 6:00pm.
