Meet your teacher Izzy Sobel:

As a San Francisco native, Izzy was exposed to yoga at a young age and rediscovered this deep passion for the practice while she was living in Europe during her college years. Since 2021, she has been devoting herself to her yogic education via trainings, mentors, independent study and consistent practice.

She completed her 200-hour training at Yoga Garden in San Francisco, and continued to train in Yin & Chinese Medicine, Yoga Nidra, Prenatal, Postpartum, and Aerial.

With a particular passion for women’s health and hormonal balance, she is also a certified Full-Spectrum Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Childbirth Educator.

She infuses multiple lineages and movement modalities into her classes, such as Hatha, Yin, Bhakti, Restorative, QiGong, and more. She firmly believes yoga can be accessible to all ages, bodies, abilities, and mobilities, and she creates an egalitarian space in her classes by encouraging students to follow their own guiding light.
